Grade 1 Lenton Project Dear FamiliesAs part of our study of Lent in Grade 1 Religion we have been learning about various traditions associated with the season. One of the traditions is almsgiving, helping those less fortunate. As a group Grade 1 has decided that they will take on the project of raising food donations for the local food bank. From now until Holy Thursday, April 6, Grade 1 students will be collecting donations of non-perishable food items. If you have any items you would like to donate please send them with your student and our Grade 1 class will look after the organization and donation of these items. A Day of Mourning Today is a day of mourning for Her late Majesty, Queen Elizabeth the second. Our schools will be taking time today to learn about and to remember her dedication and her legacy.
